History of the Cabin
The cabin was built in the 1920's and during that time it was a poolhouse to accompany an inground cement pool that filled from a well that is onsite. The poolhouse was originally divided by a wooden wall that indicated that one side was for girls and the other, for boys. Over the years the cement pool began to collapse and was eventually filled in. What remains is the cabin. The bathroom and kitchen have been added over the years. The site of the river, the ledges and woods remain the same.
